The Hosfords have been farming at Shepherds Corner for three generations. It is a mixed farm, growing wheat, barley, and oil seed rape as well as a herd of suckler cows and sheep. The farm has adapted to the needs of the time and is now fully focused on improving the health of the soil and environment by farming in a more nature-friendly way.

Having spent six years working as a chef in London at restaurants - including “St John Bread and Wine” and “The Dairy” - the time felt right for Harry to start up his venture here on the farm. Based on good bread and regular feasting, he believes cooking, eating, growing and sharing food with others is a beautiful and magical thing that can bring a wonderful depth and harmony to our lives and communities.

We aim to be a small part in the enormous change that needs to happen to our food system. We are just setting out on this journey and would love for you to join us. We are hugely grateful for all the help and support we have received so far and hope we can bring a little bit of joy as well as some tasty and nutritious food to this beautiful corner of the world.
